OUR STORY

We are Mildred and Alex and since 2015, every day we enjoy the beautiful blue skies and sunny days in the Eastern Algarve. We have build three complete and modern holiday homes and our own house on our property of 20.000 m2 named Casa Nova Safra. You will wonder how we came to this? Mildred had already met this peaceful and pretty country and knew the area around Porto and she had very fond memories of the people and general atmosphere in Portugal . We decided to spend a vacation in Northern Portugal and for me it was love at first sight. Pleasantly surprised by the wonderful varied nature, the friendly people, the beautiful cities, the clean air and the wonderful climate reminded me of the Dutch summers from my childhood. In the following years we decided to visit a different part of Portugal every year in order to get to know the country better. The climate in the Algarve meets our wishes the most, spring and summer are the 2 seasons, there is no question of autumn and winter. Slowly but surely we became increasingly fond of Portugal and the Algarve and decided to leave our houseboat in the Netherlands and make Portugal our new home. We wanted to share this amazing country and region with others and decided to built 3 vacation homes. So on our property we have Casa da Laranja, Casa da Nêspera and Casa da Amêndao.
